Biography
Joseph and his twin Maria were christened on July 1 1852,[1] presumably in Liemke, then in Westphalia province, Prussia, now in Verl, in the Gütersloh District of North-Rhine, Westphalia. They were the seventh and eighth children in the family. Joseph lived nearly six months, about three months longer than Maria.[2]
